Rapid Bus will definitely increase its dedicated bus lane on Jalan Ampang by 1km, environment friendly on Monday (February 17, 2025).
This improvement complies with the efficient execution of the preliminary 3km lane on July 3, 2023.
The additional growth will definitely cowl 2 areas: Section A, from the Ampang–Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (AKLEH) entry to the Jalan Mamanda 1 junction, linking to the present lane and Section B, from the Bandar Baru Ampang bus stop/Jalan Wawasan Ampang junction to the Sungai Besi–Ulu Kelang Elevated Highway (SUKE) departure.
Rapid Bus and the Public Works Department (JKR) will definitely carry out a three-month examination to judge the affect on touring time and blockage.
According to Rapid Bus, the lane will definitely run from 6am to 9am on weekdays, consisting of Fridays.
