Villagers protesting in opposition to the acquisition of land for a cement manufacturing unit in Surpaliya police station space of Nagaur district of Rajasthan pelted stones on the police. Additional Superintendent of Police Sumit Kumar mentioned that villagers protesting in opposition to the land acquired for a cement manufacturing unit in Sarasani village pelted stones on the police. According to ASP Sumit Kumar, in response the police used delicate pressure to take away them from there.
During this era there was an altercation between the villagers and the police. After this the villagers pelted stones on the police pressure. There is presently no info on who bought injured. He mentioned that the villagers are protesting over the value of the land acquired by the corporate for the manufacturing unit.

MP Beniwal made allegations in opposition to the police officer
Rashtriya Loktantrik Party president and Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal accused the District Superintendent of Police of taking cash from the corporate. Beniwal wrote on ‘X’, “For the last several days, farmers have been sitting on a democratic protest against the arbitrary will of the cement company on the outskirts of Sarasani village in Nagaur district. The party always stands with the farmers to take action against the policemen who lathi-charged the farmers and to fight for the rights of the farmers.”
