Dausa: After a gruelling 18-hour operation, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the police in Rajasthan’s Dausa district efficiently rescued a two-year-old lady from a 20-foot borewell within the Bandikui police station space on Thursday. The lady was despatched to a hospital for therapy after the harrowing incident.

The lady – Neeru Gurjar – fell into the borewell whereas enjoying within the night within the Jodhpuriya village on September 18, mentioned Police Sub-Inspector Bharat Lal. The administration began digging within the surrounding space with three JCBs to rescue the lady.

Earlier, Yogesh Kumar, Assistant Commander (NDRF), advised information company ANI that 31 ft of floor have been parallel dug and 12 ft have been dug horizontally. “The child is conscious and we are trying to take care of her,” he mentioned. The operation was hindered on a number of events, significantly by intermittent rain.

On Wednesday, the Dausa District Collector Devendra Kumar, Dausa Superintendent of Police Ranjita Sharma, officers from the Water Supply Department, and native administration reached the spot as rescue operations began. Dausa SP Ranjit Sharma acknowledged that skilled groups from SDRF and NDRF are conducting rescue operations.

“We are trying to know the movement and condition of the child through cameras. We are trying multiple methods so that the child can be rescued safely,” mentioned SP Ranjita Sharma.
