A 20-year-old pupil from Uttar Pradesh, getting ready for NEET-UG in Kota, allegedly dedicated suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in his PG room on Wednesday evening, police stated on Thursday (October 17). No suicide be aware was recovered from his room and the explanation behind the acute step is but to be ascertained, they added.
When the youth didn’t reply to knocking of the door and calls from members of the family on Wednesday evening, the caretaker known as police and the youth was discovered hanging from the ceiling fan, Circle Inspector on the Dadabari police station Naresh Meena stated.
The deceased youth was recognized as Ashutosh Chorasia, a resident of Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh, who had been getting ready for NEET-UG for the final six months alongside along with his cousin, Meena stated. It has been learnt the youth suffered from psychological sickness and was receiving therapy for a similar, he added.
It is the fifteenth case of suicide by teaching college students in Kota this 12 months, whereas 26 such circumstances had been reported final 12 months.
